My order for double-headed semaphores was over 6-months old, so they canceled the order. "If you still want the item place a new order. Reordered 10 double-headed semaphore signals -- back ordered (surprise surprise).
Made the first post for the signal brackets. With modification should be ready to go. Didn't think to measure the hole made by my 1/4" drill bit before turning the shaft. Turns out the bit is 0.002" under sized so of course the full-sized shaft doesn't fit. Turning down the hex stainless stock is slow and tedious. Good thing this project is not on the clock! I "need" 60 if these.
First cut at photographing the post manufacturing process. I suck as a photographer! Should talk to my cousins.
My lathe learning curve is approaching vertical. But I am learning and ordered more measuring tools to make post manufacturing easier/more accurate.
Brackets are drilled, milled and tapped. Not sure it is worth the effort to clean the Sharpie off. Due to errors, three of the four single servo brackets have been identified.
