These two list of the locos used by TrainThing are outputs from JMRI Decoder Pro. In the beginning I was thinking I would use the JMRI software as a starting point for the laptop part of TrainThing. However as the design progressed it became apparent to me that the effort needed dig into the JMRI software to add to/change JMRI to do what I wanted was bigger than building the software from scratch. 


However, while working with JMRI I entered data about the locos building my understanding of JMRI. In part what was revealed was that there are many capabilities contained in JMRI that I will not need, for example data for several "club" members, trip tickets, dispatch slips, etc.


For me the list of locos and the roster connect each train (RED, YELLOW) to its DCC address.
