Is the influx of spam actually benefiting the forum in any way, or is it just a nuisance that needs to be eradicated?
Are there hidden messages or insights within the spam posts that could potentially add value to the forum, or are they simply clogging up the space and driving away legitimate users?

Of no benefit, "just a nuisance that needs to be eradicated."
I do let some trolls through after deleting links to porn or drugs.
All posts are reviewed before being visible on the bulletin board. I have no interest in having anyone us my website to promote their porn, drugs, etc.
